Basic Italian cuisine with a mom and pop feel. I had the gyro and it was fantastic, very reminiscent of my teens working at a local mom and pop in Enterprise. The waitress was efficient and very friendly and the place had a home like feel. I'll eat there if I ever find myself in that area again.

With a special buy one get one half off pasta special, I was shocked to go to Joe's Italian today and see no church crowd. But you should go as often as possible without a deal. Go! Now!

Loved the food, portions and price. I am from Chattanooga and my parents live in Knoxville so we met here in the middle for a GREAT dining experience. My only recommendation would be to make the atmosphere a little more relaxing. Candles, softer lighting and table cloths. But we were very pleased with the food and service. It was such a pleasure talking with Joe at the end of our meal

Joe's Italian Cuisine is a awesome place to stop. My Wife and I were passing thru on our motorcycle and Googled a good place to eat. Joe's had great reviews so we decided to stop..It was well worth it! The Food was great! Joe is always there and takes great pride in his Restaurant....and it shows. We will return there again for sure..

We frequent Joe's quite often. Outstanding Italian food. Joe and his wife are wonderful people, gracious hosts. Selections on the new menu are varied with one thing in common: the food is marvelous. For small town like Athens, Tennessee, it's an enjoyable dining experience.

Absolutely wonderful! Food is amazing as always and I wish the staff was this awesome everywhere! Whenever we come to town we have to go to Joe's.

The food was good, but the wait staff wasn't attentive. We were the only people in the restaurant and we waited approximately 15 min to have our order taken. My son's ravioli was a small serving (4 ravioli) and he said it had too much garlic. My meal was delicious. I had the pasta milano.

First time eating at this establishment. My mother and I both had the Chicken Parmesan. Plenty to eat and took half of it home to eat later. Food was delicious. The garlic bread was awesome. The sauce was flavored perfectly. The server (dark-hair, blue eyes) was super friendly and just wonderful. We had the added treat of Mike and a serenade...I'm sure every customer is treated as well as we were! Very relaxed setting and comfortable. We are planning to visit more frequently and would highly recommend eating at Joe's!

Great service. The servers are very knowledgeable about the menu if you have questions. There is a variety of foods offered. I recommend the crab cakes.

I always enjoy my meal!! I forgot the name but my love enjoyed the lasagna! My dish had bowtie pasta, white sauce, chicken, cherry tomatoes ... I thought it was very delish!!

Authentic Italian. Joe came from Italy in his 20’s. He and his wife do the cooking, and it’s VERY good! My wife and I have been to Italy multiple times and Joe’s is the real deal. The Pasta Joe with Angel Hair was my favorite, but the Penne was a close second. Our server, Laura, was very friendly and helpful. I really like that their menu has pictures next to each dish. I don’t know why more places don’t do that. Overall, an excellent experience! Will be bringing my wife with me on our anniversary!

I was let down. Dinner was definitely not worth the asking price. The salad was worth 2 dollars instead of 4. Almost a 100 dollars for 4 of us to have dinner here. These were honestly 8 dollar plates of food for double the price.

Our Red Hat group meets at Joe's once or twice a year. Joe always dons his Red Hat and joins in the fun. The food is ALWAYS delicious! Even though there are usually 12-20 of us, the wait for our food is never too long. EAT at JOE'S!

Good food at a decent price. Heck, it’s the best Italian restaurant between Knoxville and Chattanooga, and it would be hard to find a better one between NASHVILLE and Atlanta. Food and service are excellent. If you are lucky, Joe will come out and talk to you. He is an excellent young man.

Hardly any chicken with my meal and what was their had no flavor. Seemed almost as if it was precooked. Otherwise the flavors we're there and great. Very nice staff as well.

The crab cakes are incredible! Gyro is the best , the eggplant parm, lobster Ravioli, Pasta Joe, all authentic and do not miss the desserts! (I adore the cannoli.) Joe, Mona and staff make you feel like family. Our own little piece of Italy! Prices are great and Joe is always bringing something new to the menu. The atmosphere is quaint and casual. Not good. We planned our travel overnight hotel stay based upon these reviews and the 4.8 rating. Come on guys, people depend upon realistic reviews. If you truly believe this is nearly a 5 star restaurant, I encourage you to expand your sample. My objective here is not to bash the restaurant (thus no details), but rather to help prevent others from making the same mistake.

Best lasagna and pasta dishes in East Tennessee! Quick and very friendly service! Joe and the staff are always welcoming and make you feel at home! I came in with a party of 18 and everything came out timely, fresh and with smiling faces!! I will definitely be back! I will be back again, and again, and again and again!

My go-to comfort food eatery! Joe is a wonderful chef who takes great pride in ensuring you leave his restaurant satisfied and full. He and his family are warm and welcoming people and make every dining experience truly pleasurable.
